Falls on Big Creek

Big Creek Falls Big Creek in Rabun County offers a great secluded waterfall for anyone with the determination to find it. The fall features a fifty foot drop down three tiers into a plunge pool protected by shear rock walls. While this fall is difficult to reach, it is well worth the effort, especially for those looking for a private spot to swim or splash around.

The two mile hike is moderate for most of the way but becomes difficult at the end,

as one must scramble down a steep bank to reach the base. Use extreme caution approaching the falls, as there are numerous steep drops alongside of Big Creek. The hike out is quite strenuous, due to the steep uphill climb for the first mile or so.

Sorry but directions to this spot are reserved for list members only.
