The Tale: Part 2

Every bit of counter and wall space in this large home was covered with tacky country crafts and decorations. My personal favorite was the plastic fruit (apples and grapes) glued to the walls and ceilings. Weave was especially fond of the upstairs sitting area where dozens of song-birds had been glued to the walls, while Jed was enthralled by the downstairs living area with it's fish motif. China's favorite feature was the ducks.

Everywhere one looked, there were ducks. Ceramic ducks of all sizes graced the kitchen counter tops, cabinets, and side tables. Twelve ducks adorned with gingham bows ringed the jacuzzi in the master bedroom. Pictures of ducks hung above the fireplace and in each bathroom. A stained glass depiction of a duck hung above the hot tub. A basket full of ducks was stuck in one corner. Six duck handled coffee mugs hung from a duck shaped rack. Ducks, ducks, ducks everywhere.
