The Waterfalls of North Georgia, Page 1| 2| 3

Helton Creek falls is one of our favorite of the easily accessed yet lesser known falls. The falls consist of a the upper 30 foot slide (visible from the road) and the lowerLower Helton Creek Falls and more interesting cascade into a emerald green pool lined by rhododendron and mountain laurel. From Turners Corner (the junction of Hwy 19 and hwy 129) proceed north for 9.5 miles. Turn right onto Helton Creek Road. Proceed 2.3 miles to the pull-off on the right. A short, easy trail leads to the falls.
