Kid's Eye View: Raven Cliffs
By Sean Whalen

Sean at Raven's Cliffs Raven's Cliffs is a sheer rock formation with a waterfall at the end of a 2.5 mile hike. The cliffs are shaped by the constant flow of the clear cold mountain stream. Dogs love to run and wallow in the bubbling water. Leave your poodle at home. This winding mountain path and white water falls is no place for the weak and timid dog!

The round trip 5 mile hike is very beautiful as it follows an abandoned railroad track up the mountain. The path is shaded by a thick, dense canopy hanging overhead. Even on the hottest summer days the temperature feels cool because very little direct sunlight reaches the path.
