Weave's Secret Spot
The Facts:
This spot has long been one of our favorites. In our younger days we spent many pleasant afternoons at these falls, yet we do not know their name. Revealed to Weave in the late 80's by a boyfriend who was attending college in Dahlonega, we visited these falls frequently in the early 90's.
Weave's friend did not know the name of this spectacular creek, and we have yet to speak with anyone that could supply us with the information. We have questioned several of the local residents in the area to no avail.
Our latest visit finds access to the trailhead fenced off and marked "No Trespassing". Does anyone recognize this spot? Is there any public access to this site? We would love to here from you.

Directions:
This creek is located in the Turners Corner Area near Waters Creek. Access was via one of the numerous old logging roads along FS 34. In respect to the property owners right to privacy we will not give directions to the trailhead. We are trying to find more information about this site and will keep you posted in future entries of the Journal.
